The author studied Islamic Studies and German Literature in Germany, and has lived and travelled extensivily in Arabic speaking countries. She binds first-hand glimpses of the Muslim world with raw action and vibrant imagery. This full-length debut plays with cultural prejudice and the search for identity in a globslised world. She lives in Morocco.
