"Caesar Dies" is a historical novel by an English writer of adventure fiction. The book is amazingly accurate in rendering historical details, contains a lot of facts about inner Roman politics, and has exciting dialogues between the protagonists. Yet, the main topic is the practices of plotting in ancient Rome, and this offers a lot of thought-provoking content.
