"Diary Kept by Rifleman B. C. Stubbs of the Second Draft Sent to the Queen Victoria Rifles in France" by Bernard C. Stubbs

As a soldier for the British forces in the First World War, Stubbs was in the trenches and saw the horrors of the conflict up close. By keeping and releasing this diary, he was able to share his story with the masses. Beginning in February, 1915, and continuing on until his death by bullet wound in June of that same year, this text honors not just his memory and bravery, but those of all the other soldiers who fought alongside him.
