George Borrow (1803 - 1881) is best known for his travelogues around England and Europe, and also for his close acquaintance with the Romany people. This book is simply a collection of letters written during the period 1836 -1874 which give a glimpse into his life, thoughts, and financial status. They are short in the main but surprisingly personal and endearing.
