Each time, sailing to the island, he took two or three silver ingots, believing that "it is necessary to become rich slowly." But every day the former merry fellow became more and more withdrawn and irritable. Treasures took possession of him. And his life was interrupted by an accidental, but accurate shot of an old soldier.
