This novel is anchored by Windsor Castle in the sense that without it, none of the characters or events would make sense. The novel charts the romance of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. There is a description of Herne the Hunter, some sort of ghostly figure that haunts the woods. They are not exactly connected but the book makes good reading.
